Controls / Retrofit Engineer                                            

Job Description:

  • Designs electrical schematics for CNC and PLC controls, in accordance with safety codes and quality requirements. Integrates controls with machine tools.  Keeps abreast of new technical developments.
  • Estimates, designs, and integrates electronic machine controls, and keeps records according to quality procedures.
  • Writes operating instructions and manuals.
  • Interprets specifications, schematics, and job orders to rebuild electricians and assigns duties where necessary.
  • Analyzes and resolves problems and assists rebuild electricians in solving work problems.
  • Estimates, requisitions, and inspects materials.
  • Maintains company CNC equipment.
  • Makes service calls to customers.
  • Interfaces with customers and customers’ concerns on electronic matters.
  • Inspects work in process to ensure that tasks are being accomplished with established policy, safety standards, and quality procedures to ensure internal and external customer satisfaction.
  • Occasionally visits customers on sales calls or inspection for RFQs.
  • May have to assist and train personnel when installing machines or equipment in customers’ plant.

Minimum Requirements:

  • High school or equivalent and college, 2 years of technical school, and /or formal training in CNC / PLC integration
  • 5 years applicable experience desired

Machine Tool Rebuilder                                                   

Job Description:

  • Rebuilds various types of machines and their components.
  • Visually inspects and tests machinery and equipment.
  • Rebuilds machines according to customer specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements.
  • Dismantles defective machines and equipment and installs new or repaired parts, following specifications and blueprints, including customer specifications.
  • Assembles, installs, and maintains hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.
  • Makes service calls to customers.
  • Sets up and operates machine tools, such as lathe, grinder, drill, and milling machine to repair or fabricate machine parts.
  • Communicates with supervisor to receive instructions and coordinate activities.
  • Complies with established policy, safety standards, and quality procedures to ensure internal and external customer satisfaction.
  • Helps to install machines and equipment in customers’ plant.

Minimum Requirements:

  • High school or equivalent
  • Formal training or apprenticeship
  • Minimum 5 years applicable experience
  • Detail Oriented

CNC Machinist                                                                       

Job Description:

  • Setup and operate single or multi-spindle CNC machines
  • Monitor and control the machine operation to produce a quality part
  • Read and understand part prints, job instructions, and work instructions
  • Understand tooling adjustments, cutting speeds, cut depth, and tooling required
  • Use gages and calipers to manually check part dimension and tolerance

Minimum Requirements:

  • Proficient reading and understanding part prints, geometric dimensions, and tolerances
  • Detail oriented
  • Aerospace experience preferred
  • High School Diploma or equivalent

Machinist Apprentice                                                          

Job Description:

  • Will learn to setup and operate various CNC and manual machining centers
  • Will learn to read and understand part prints, job instructions, and work instructions
  • Will learn tooling adjustments, cutting speeds, cut depth, and tooling required
  • Will learn to use gages and calipers to manually check part dimension and tolerance

Minimum Requirements:

  • No experience is required
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Detail oriented

Currently or planning to attend TCAT is preferred

Quality Inspector                                                                  

Job Description:

      • Inspect, test machined parts, fixtures, and tools for conformance to specifications such as dimensions, tolerance, and hardness
      • Able to apply knowledge of shop mathematics
      • Applies knowledge of testing procedures using precision measuring instruments
      • Applies knowledge of testing equipment, hand tools, and programs
      • Uses a CMM machine
      • Perform other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements:

      • High School Diploma or equivalent
      • Detail oriented
      • Proficient computer skills
      • Proficient reading and understanding part prints, geometric, dimensions, and tolerances
      • Minimum 5 years applicable experience
      • Aerospace experience preferred

Account Manager                                                                  

Job Description:

      • Serve North Carolina and South Carolina
      • Establishes, develops and maintains business relationships with current customers and prospective customers in the assigned territory/market segment to generate new business for the organization’s products/services.
      • Establishes productive, professional relationships with key personnel in targeted customer accounts.
      • Coordinates the involvement of company personnel, including support, service, and management resources, in order to meet the customers’ expectations.
      • Proactively assesses, clarifies, and validates customer needs on an ongoing basis
      • Maintains high customer satisfaction ratings that meet company standards.
      • Extensive Travel
      • Must have a valid driver’s license

Minimum Requirements:

      • Aerospace Machining and Amp; Assembly, Manufacturing, Manufacturing Engineering, and Precision Machining preferred
      • Minimal experience in industrial sales
      • PC proficiency
      • Problem Solving Skills

 

CNC Programmer                                                                  

Job Description:

      • Experience with advanced programming of CNC turning and 5-axis equipment for precision aerospace parts from various materials
      • Knowledge of CATIA Vs5 Rev 20 would be a plus
      • Must have a good understanding of geometric tolerances, speeds & amp feeds and be able to create the required fixtures and tooling to manufacture parts assigned
      • Must be able to communicate well with co-workers, be a team player and occasionally assume some leadership roles

Minimum Requirements:

      • High School Diploma or equivalent
      • Formal training in machine shop practices and CNC machine operations acquired through vocational or military service school
      • 5 years minimum experience programming CNC equipment
