The supplier’s Certification of Conformance (CoC) shall affirm that no suspect or known counterfeit parts, materials, or work are included in the delivered items.
The supplier shall:
- Ensure all items are procured only from Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs)/Original Component Manufacturers (OCMs), or their Franchised Distributors or Authorized Suppliers.
- Obtain written approval from Schmiede Corporation before using any supplier outside of these approved channels. This approval and a risk assessment must be included in the deliverable data package.
Verification & Inspection Requirements:
- Supplier shall verify the procurement source and validate accompanying certification documentation.
- Supplier’s receiving inspection process shall include appropriate inspection and/or testing methods to detect potential counterfeit items.
Flow down Responsibility:
- Supplier shall flow this clause in its entirety, or an equivalent version replacing “Schmiede Corp.” with “Supplier,” to all lower-tier subcontractors.
- If any lower-tier supplier is not an Authorized Supplier, the supplier must include a copy of their risk assessment and written approval in the deliverable data package.
