The supplier shall develop, document, and maintain a Foreign Object Elimination (FOE) Program or equivalent to prevent the introduction of foreign objects into any item delivered under Schmiede’s contract.
The program must:
- Define appropriate controls and cleanliness standards for the work environment.
- Ensure products are manufactured, processed, and packaged in a FOD-free state.
- Include any relevant documentation (e.g., work instructions, forms, or metrics), which shall be available upon request.
The supplier’s Certification of Conformance also represents that all delivered products are free of any loose or foreign materials that could result in Foreign Object Damage (FOD).
